how to play a bizarre run

This order comes from the early-access guide for place 108055619068945. A later public build can change the stage order.

A first race in A Bizarre Run starts with a random Stand card draw in the opening tutorial, not a free pick from a roster. Follow the seven steps in order through the mounted practice run, the combat lesson, the lobby preparation checklist, Stage 1, the inter-stage train shop, Stage 2, and the elimination barrier before the finish.

1

Take your first Stand in the tutorial

The first session starts with a tutorial and a random Stand card draw, then a practice race. It is not a free pick from the whole roster.

2

Learn to sprint, slipstream and avoid obstacles

Hold Shift to sprint. Riding behind another horse uses their slipstream. Stage 1 cannot shoot riders directly; shooting map TNT can break an obstacle.

3

Finish the combat lesson

After the practice race, summon the Stand, drill the basic attack, block and abilities, then defeat the tutorial boss. The guide calls M1 the PC basic attack.

4

Prepare in the lobby and register

Check daily and weekly quests, spins, the mount, codes and Stand slots, then register. An empty slot keeps the current Stand while you draw another.

5

Finish Stage 1 before chasing a perfect run

Finish the stage and reach the train. First place is not required for rewards. TNT and a destroyed bridge can change the route.

6

Use the train shop, then reach the Stage 2 checkpoint

Buy a shotgun or a revolver plus its ammunition. Only one firearm can be carried. Stage 2 has bounties and PvP, and the Boom Boom Brothers target riders at the back.

7

Survive the elimination zone and cross the finish

At the later barrier, read Deaths Needed. The race resumes after the required eliminations and a short countdown. Fog closes in and deals damage.

Keys used on this course

Hold Shift to sprint while mounted, press T to call your horse back after a fall, and save F for the one-time horse boost when you need to recover ground. Tucking directly behind a lead rider lets you draft in their slipstream so you conserve stamina on long straights. During the opening stage, direct gunfire against rival riders is disabled, so aim at map TNT barrels to clear blocked paths. Basic melee strikes use M1 during combat.

On the train between stages you can buy either a shotgun or a revolver along with matching ammunition, and you can carry only one firearm into the next leg. Stage 2 activates rider bounties, open PvP, and the Boom Boom Brothers, who hunt stragglers at the back of the pack. At the final barrier, check the Deaths Needed counter, survive the closing damage fog until the elimination count and countdown finish, and sprint across the line.

Controls

Pacing your horse across Stage 1 and Stage 2

Most first-session mistakes happen before Stage 2 even begins. New riders burn their one-time F boost on the opening straight or hold Shift until their mount runs dry right before a bridge hazard. Treat Stage 1 as a qualifying leg: finishing the stage and boarding the train still pays cash and Stand progression resources even if you do not cross in first place. Watch for TNT barrels near chokepoints and bridges, because a detonated obstacle can force the pack onto a side line.

Once you board the train, spend your cash immediately on one firearm—either the shotgun for close quarters inside the pack or the revolver for mid-range shots—and pick up ammunition for that weapon. Stage 2 changes the rules from pure racing to armed survival. Falling to the tail of the group exposes you to the Boom Boom Brothers, while riding inside the final barrier zone requires watching both the Deaths Needed counter and the encroaching fog boundary.
