a bizarre run shop

FirearmShotgun or revolver

Buy one gun on the train and ammunition for that gun. You leave the train carrying a single firearm.

Stand itemMerchant, craft, or wheel

The merchant sells Stand items. Fragments combine under Stands, then Craft. A Spin Wheel drop is extra, and it is random.

The train shop between Stage 1 and Stage 2 is where you lock in your single firearm and its ammunition for the rest of the race. Stand progression items use a separate loop across the lobby shop merchant, the Stands crafting screen, and the random Spin Wheel.

On the train

Use the inter-stage train stop to buy your firearm before Stage 2 opens. Riders can shoot each other once Stage 2 starts, bounties go live, and falling to the back of the pack puts you in the sights of the Boom Boom Brothers. Always buy ammunition that matches the weapon you picked, because the second firearm stays on the shelf once you carry one.

Outside the race course, buying a Stand Arrow and a Rokakaka Fruit from the shop merchant is the reliable way to prepare a Stand reroll. Stand Arrow Fragments are the slower build path: collect them from runs or spins and combine them under Stands, then Craft, whenever you have enough pieces to complete the in-game recipe.

Shiny Stand Arrows are not sold as a standard shelf item in the train shop; they drop from the Spin Wheel alongside cash, Rokakaka Fruit, and arrow fragments.

What the train steps leave out

Lasso

An older pre-release feature list names a lasso alongside guns and ammunition, whereas the early-access train-shop walkthrough specifically lists the shotgun, the revolver, and ammunition.

Price

Cash prices for individual shop items are not fixed in external listings, so check the live counter inside the lobby merchant or train car before spending.

How to prioritize cash between the train shop and the lobby merchant

When you are starting out or have just redeemed the RELEASE code for your initial cash balance, keep enough cash unspent in the lobby so you never board the Stage 1 train broke. Entering Stage 2 without a shotgun or revolver—or buying a gun and forgetting its ammunition—leaves you unable to contest bounties or defend yourself during the Deaths Needed elimination barrier at the end of the course.

Once your train firearm and ammunition budget is covered, put surplus cash toward a Rokakaka Fruit and a Stand Arrow at the lobby merchant only when you are ready to roll in an empty slot or clear an occupied slot. Treat Spin Wheel tickets as bonus rolls rather than your primary supply line, and equip your purchased firearm in the field by holding C to select it as your secondary item and tapping C to draw it.
